When purchasing an intercom you need to determine the number of communication points (substations) you will require. For example, each fuel island is typically a communication point so a four island location should use an intercom with at least four channels.
WIRED INTERCOM SYSTEMS 3M Wired Intercom systems are composed of a station selector, controller and a call station. The Classic series is a fixed station single channel system. The Performance D2400 systems are expanded to 24 stations on one channel. The Signature C5000 systems are expandable to 24 stations on two channels of communication.
