Welcome to Tank Valves, Fittings & Accessories Underground Storage Tanks (USTs) can be plumbed in several different configurations. The current Federal EPA UST Regulations require all USTs to have corrosion protection, overspill protection, and overfill prevention. Air Quality regulations may require Stage I and Stage II Vapor Recovery. Enhanced Vapor Recovery (EVR) regulations require new CARB swivel fill and vapor adaptors. USTs must perform three basic functions: All USTs need to be filled, emptied and vented. Performing these functions within your area's standards will determine which equipment you need. Shear Valves
Shear valves help prevent hazards caused by collision or fires at the dispenser.
Ball Floats and Extractors
Ball float extractors are plumbed into the top of the underground storage tank to provide venting connections, stage I and stage II vapor recovery connections and access to the overfill prevention ball float.
Flex Connectors
Flex connectors are attached between underground piping and tank fittings or pumps to allow for vibration and movement.
