Stage II Vapor Recovery Equipment / Balance Vapor Recovery System
Stage II Vapor Recovery Balance Systems capture gasoline vapors between the nozzle and the car tank that would normally escape into the atmosphere. The Balance System is a closed, passive system that requires a tight seal between the nozzle and the fill pipe. As the car tank fills with gas, the vapors are displaced, captured, and returned to the underground tank. Balance nozzles are ORVR compliant.
