Stage II Vapor Recovery Breakaway Valves help prevent hazardous fuel spills and costly damage if a vehicle drives away with the nozzle still in the fill-pipe. Installed in the hose between the nozzle and dispenser, the breakaway valve separates when it is pulled apart shutting off the fuel flow and the vapor passage. Re-connectable breakaway valves can be snapped back together after separation, saving the cost of downtime and a maintenance call.
